Spiritual Journey
“My spiritual journey began as an adolescent when I first experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit. It was a palpable emotional experience that pricked my consciousness in such a way that I knew beyond a doubt that He was real. This encounter proved to be life-changing and empowered me throughout my high school and college years, and my early years as a wife and mother.
Eventually, my desire to be used by Him led me to Shaw Divinity School in Raleigh, NC, and later to Trinity College of the Bible and Seminary in Evansville, Indiana, where I earned the Doctor of Biblical Studies Degree. My dissertation, ‘Women to Women: Women in the Greco-Roman World and Their Contemporary Influence,’ highlights my dedication to understanding the pivotal role of women in both historical and contemporary contexts.
Guided by the words of Micah 6:8—’to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God’—I continue to inspire and edify the Body of Christ through my life and ministry.”
Scott began his charitable mission in 2014, founding Grow In Wisdom Foundation, a charitable organization purposed to find new and innovative ways to spread God’s Word. In October 2015, Scott Published “And the End was the Beginning”, a perspective narrative of the Christian experience of being reunited with loved ones in the afterlife.
From 2017-2020, Scott served as a counselor for A Roof Above (formerly known as Urban Ministry Center), in Charlotte NC. There, he assisted the homeless community with gaining access to vital resources, such as food, shelter, access to public transportation, job placement, and prison re-entry. Scott has also coordinated group volunteer initiatives with local charitable organizations Loaves and Fishes, and Hospitality House in Charlotte, NC. Scott is currently studying to receive his Masters Degree in Christian Counseling from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary.
