Guidance and Wisdom

James 1:5-6

If any of you lacks wisdom, let his ask of God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

We have the assurance that if we need wisdom, we have to only ask God in faith. Doubt undermines the power of prayer. He is waiting to hear from us, and He is generous in His gifting. We need His wisdom to make good decisions and to walk according to His will. To obtain wisdom and to endure trials with joy, we ask God to meet our need.

Acknowledge our need for wisdom
Ask God for wisdom in faith.
Receive wisdom generously.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your guidance and wisdom in our lives. Shine Your light upon our paths, that we may clearly see Your will and choose what is pleasing to You. Grant us clarity of mind and strength of spirit, so we may walk in faith, trusting fully in Your perfect plan.
